The bases are made from ZMAX® galvanized steel and finished with a black powder coat for superior corrosion resistance, ensuring longevity and durability in any weather condition. The installation of these APB post bases is streamlined with the use of Outdoor Accents structural wood screws and patented hex-head washers, sold separately. This combination not only provides a decorative bolt-like appearance but also simplifies the installation process, similar to that of a screw. Additionally, each APB model includes a 1" standoff from the concrete, enhancing the longevity of your posts by preventing end rot caused by moisture accumulation.
