It is equipped with a brushless motor and when paired with a M18™ REDLITHIUM™ 2.0Ah Battery (sold separately), this tool delivers over 400+ cuts on 3/8" mild steel per charge. Plus, the four-sided cutting dies enable users to cut multiple sizes of threaded rod by simply rotating the dies. This all thread cutter provides the clearest line of sight for making overhead cuts and delivers clean, burr-free cuts. The cordless tool also features optimized blade geometry and cut speeds for chip- and spark-free cuts. The auto jaw opening allows fast repetitive cuts while the 1-1/2-in. trim length delivers even cuts. This tool features a reverse button for accidental cuts and also comes with an LED light to illuminate dark workspaces. The flat horizontal design is ideal for benchtop use and the centered grip allows balanced one-handed overhead trims. This tool comes with an onboard allen key storage that allows easy die changes.
