The Makita 18V LXT® Cordless 3/4" Sq. Drive Impact Wrench features a BL™Brushless Motor that delivers up to 780 ft.lbs. of Fastening Torque and 1,250 ft.lbs. of Nut-Busting Torque. In addition, Makita’s BL™Brushless Motor runs cooler without carbon brushes, matches torque and RPM to application and is able to optimize battery energy giving operators 50% longer run time per charge. The tool’s 3-speed power selection switch (0-900/ 0-1,000/ 0-1,800 RPM & 0-1,800/ 0-2,000/ 0-2,200 IPM) allows users to match fastening speed with application. The 3/4-inch anvil with friction ring and thru hole retention system offers maximum productivity while the electric brake increases efficiency. Makita's proprietary hammer and anvil impact mechanismare constructed from the highest quality steel and heat treated for more fastening and driving power. This Impact Wrench is ergonomically designed for enhanced user comfort with its 9-inch long body, 8.1-lbs. of weight with battery (sold separately), easy to operate forward/reverse switch and rubberized soft grip handles. The tool also features a flexible joint that isolates the battery from the grip to reduce battery wear and contact. For additional convenience, the tool has built-in dual LED lights to illuminate the work surface and a hanging hook for storage. The Cordless tool is equipped with Makita’sStar Protection Computer Controls™which protects the system from overloading, over-discharging and over-heating.
