The Makita 18V LXT® 4-Speed 1/2" Square Drive Impact Wrench features a BL™ Brushless Motor that delivers 520 ft.lbs. of Fastening Torque and 740 ft.lbs. of Nut-Busting Torque. It also optimizes battery energy, providing 50% longer run time per charge and electronically adjusts torque and speed under load to meet demand. The 4-speed power selection switch (0-500 / 0-1,200 / 0-1,900 / 0-2,200 RPM & 0-1,000 / 0-1,700 / 0-2,400 / 0-2,700 IPM) allows users to match speed to a wide range of fastening applications. In addition, it features 3 forward and 3 reverse Auto-Stop modes and a full speed mode which reduces trigger pull. Measuring only 6-11/16-inches long and weighing 6-lbs. with battery (sold separately), this compact tool offers convenience and less user fatigue for all-day use. In addition, the grips feature soft rubber that enhances comfort and the tool’s built-in LED lights with on/off switch illuminate the work surface. Makita’s unique hammer and anvil impact mechanisms are constructed with the best raw material, highest quality steel and best heat hardening process to result in maximum fastening and drive power. In addition, this tool features Makita’s Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) which is a protective seal inside the tool that channels water and dust away from internal components.
