The Laguna JX/6 QuadTec: I Jointer features an all-new 2021 design with loads of enhanced features for making jointing work safer and more enjoyable. The QuadTec I produces amazing surface finishes on all woods including difficult types. The QuadTec I uses 4-sided carbide insert knives that are quieter and much more durable compared to straight HSS knives. In addition, the 4-sided knives can be rotated for a new cutting edge without the need for a knife setting jig. For added safety, this machine is designed with a knee-stop. This important safety feature allows the machine operator to stop the machine quickly at any position along the front of the machine while keeping hands on the work piece.

Parallelogram Table Adjustments – Designed to travel along an arc to keep the same distance to the cutterhead through its travel
Emergency “Knee-Stop” – A body-length bar at knee height that shuts off the JX jointer
New Ergonomic Machine Body – Redesigned with a “toe-kick” to allow users to position themselves closer to the machine tables while moving safer and easier along the length of the machine
In-feed Support Roller – Pull out to help support longer materials
QuadTec I Cutterhead – Comes as standard equipment on the new JX-6
Built-In Wheels – Eliminates the need for a separate mobility kit
