The Festool 576759 MX-A Dust Extraction Attachment is an accessory for the MX 1200 Stirrer. It is used in conjunction with a Festool Dust Extractor to limit exposure to dust when filling and mixing powder-like materials. The MX Attachment simply clips onto the edge of the bucket and helps to ensure that dust ends up in the Dust Extractor from the moment the mixing material is poured in, and not in your lungs.
Capturing the dust as it is created also helps to keep a clean work environment. You no longer have to battle with clouds of dust while stirring.
