This innovative base design successfully eliminates the need for temporary vertical supports, significantly streamlining the subcontractor scheduling process and enhancing safety for both installers and inspectors. Initially anchored to the footing with two Titen Turbo™ masonry screws during the porch roof framing stage, this porch post base facilitates the later stages of construction by allowing the concrete contractor to complete the porch slab without interruptions from temporary supports. This design ensures the framer does not need to revisit the site after the concrete has set. Capable of withstanding substantial vertical construction loads before being fully embedded in concrete, the PPB44-4Z is robust enough to support the weight of most framed porches and overhangs.
