Sorby RSTM-GT3 TurnMaster Excelsior Cutter, Square. A tough and extra-long lasting Square titanium nitride (TiN) coated replacement cutter for Robert Sorby's versatile TurnMaster Tool. Best suited for external roughing work and waste removal, but also works for tenoning and other "straight line" operations. The titanium nitride coated Excelsior tips cut crisp detail and leave a fine finish. They offer the same characteristics as plain HSS, but with the added toughness (has an Rc of 90) and prolonged edge life that TiN provides. Works with any of Sorby's handled or un-handled TurnMaster shanks. Cutter is re-sharpenable. England
