These knives are essentially left-angled gouges designed for carving areas where the full length of a gouge will not fit. Knife carvers will find them useful for hollowing deep, narrow cavities. Right-Handed carvers should choose a right-handed tool to cut towards themselves. Choose a left-handed tool to cut away from yourself. This set puts all of Flexcut's profiles into one handy tool roll.
As an added bonus the set includes a specially shaped strop to help maintain the edge of these unusually shaped tools (compound sold separately). Made with Flexcut's signature edge holding steel blade and matched with a curved ergonomic ash handle. USA
Set Includes: A 1/8" (3mm); 3/16" (5mm); and 5/16" (8mm) scorp; a 70 Deg. X 1/4" (6mm) V-scorp; and a scorp strop; plus a tool roll.
