The Makita 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Cordless Multi-Tool delivers variable speeds (6,000-20,000 OPM) which allows operators to match speed to application. It is ideal for cutting or sanding wood flooring, tile, plaster, sheetrock, wood, PVC, and more. For faster and more aggressive power, this tool provides a 3.2° oscillation angle and a small diameter barrel grip (only 2-3/8-inches) for better handling and control. The large on/off slide switch offers a lock-on feature for convenience during continuous operation while the soft-start feature provides smooth start-ups. The integrated battery capacity warning system is designed to automatically turn on an indicator light and stop the motor when it’s time to recharge the battery (battery and chargers are sold separately). This tool also includes adapters that fit most competitor accessories. Equipped with Star Protection Computer Controls™, this toolis protected from overloading, over-discharging and over-heating. It is compatible with genuine Makita 18V lithium-ion batteries with start symbol (sold separately). Batteries and chargers are sold separately.
