The Reliance 50-Gallon Self-Cleaning Natural Gas Water Heater features an electric gas control valve that provides precise temperature control and operational status. In addition, the Piezo igniter allows for easy “one-hand” pilot ignition without matches. The tank is glass-lined while the anode rod protects against corrosion. It has factory-installed PEX polymer lined heat trap nipples and a factory-installed temperature & pressure (T&P) relief valve. This water heater is “Environmentally-Friendly” with non-CFC foam insulation.
