Some tools are best sharpened with the stone running towards the edge and other tools should have the stone running away from the edge. With the Tormek Rotating Base, you can easily rotate the machine 180 degrees to select the ideal sharpening direction, without ever changing your own working position. The base makes it easier than ever to switch from sharpening to honing!
The base was designed to be as thin as possible in order not to affect the working height. You can easily turn the machine without any heavy lifting or water spillage. It automatically locks in either 180 degree position and the rubber feet absorb the normal vibrations and make sure that it rests firmly on the table.
Constructed from three optimal high performance materials to ensure a low friction and high stability. The Rotating Base will fit the Tormek T-7, T-3, 2000, and 1200 Series Systems, plus the SA-250 and N-1500. Sharpening systems sold separately. Sweden
