Built with an outer rotor brushless motor, this battery-powered chainsaw delivers power that matches gas chainsaws. The top handle design makes this saw ideal for pruning, trimming and limbing. The variable speed trigger and high chain speed (0-4,720 FPM) allows users to match speed to application, while the torque boost mode helps cut through dense material. For added convenience, this zero-emission tool features adjustable automatic chain lubrication, an electric brake, and a lock-off lever that helps prevent the chain from accidentally engaging. This handheld saw is protected by Makita's Extreme Protection Technology which is a protective seal inside the tool that channels water and dust away from internal components, as well as Star Protection Computer Controls that prevents overloading, overdischarging, and overheating.
