For the 28 ft. through 40 ft. models, the side rails are 3 inches wide I-beams. The ladder is designed to be easily accessible, with the first rung only 6 inches from the ground. It's equipped with an exclusive ALFLO hardened rung joint that ensures the rungs are twist-proof for safety and long-lasting durability. The ladder is UL-listed and labeled, meeting safety standards. For ladders between 16 ft. and 32 ft. in length, there is a 3 ft. overlap, and the 40 ft. ladder has a 4 ft. overlap. Additionally, ladders that are 20 ft. and larger come with a rope and pulley system for ease of extension. This extension ladder is a reliable choice for household tasks and projects.
