Crown 285 8 Pc. Turning Tool Set. The blades of the tools in this Crown Turning Tool Set are made from M2 High Speed Steel (HSS) and are hardened to Rockwell 62-64, thus giving them excellent edge holding ability. Over the years Crown lathe tools have proven themselves the equal or better of any of the main line brands in terms of performance with the added benefit of usually being less expensive. Consequently they represent one of the better lathe tool values on the market. Blades range in length from 6-1/4" to 7-1/4" long. 8-1/2" stained beech handles. Sheffield, England.
