Sorby 843G Excelsior Roughing Gouge Blade, 3/4 in. Many turners prefer to turn their tool handles to their own specifications. For those turners we offer here a 3/4" Roughing Gouge Blade from Robert Sorby's selection of the more highly used unhandled tool blades, with the special inclusion of their sought after Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating. These High Speed Steel (HSS), TiN coated, unhandled blades are identical to the ones found on the handled versions. The blade listed here will also fit the Sorby Sovereign System Handles. A Collet Adapter may be required if used with the Sovereign System. Check your manual for the size collet required, if any. Blade has an overall length of approximately 8-1/2" (including tang).
