Makita 18V LXT® Cordless Jig Saw features a Makita-built motor that delivers variable speed (0-2,600 strokes per minute) for faster cutting while the 3 orbital settings plus straight cut allows the tool to be used in a wide variety of applications. The base is adjustable from 0°- 45° left or right for more accurate bevel cuts and the heavy gauge base improves the smoothness of cuts. For increase user convenience and comfort, the jig saw features a large 2-finger variable speed trigger, built-in LED lights for illuminating the work surface, a built-in dust blower to clear the line of cut for accuracy and rubberized soft grip handles. In addition, the tool only weighs 6.4-lbs with battery (sold separately) which helps lessen operator fatigue during all-day use. It also includes a “tool-less” blade change lever for easier blade installation and removal. This tool is compatible with Makita 18V Lithium-Ion batteries with a Star symbol (sold separately) which feature Star Protection Computer Controls™. Makita batteries and chargers feature the fastest charging times in their category, allowing more time for your projects and less time on the charging stations.
