This device effectively prevents dangerous back siphonage and backflow, ensuring your water supply remains uncontaminated. It comes with a break-away lock screw for vandal-resistant installation, ideal for added security. This product is intended for use in nonfreezing areas, protecting hose connections from contamination where temperatures stay above freezing. The outlet side features a manual drain release for the check valve, allowing complete draining of the valve after the hose is disconnected to prevent freezing.
